Money is often associated with freedom, but what is the real connection between Money, Freedom and Happiness? This is what we chat about in this episode with Wouter Shahlenis, business finance coach and energy healer.
Not being one hundred percent happy living in the Netherlands and conforming with the “freedom in the box”, Woulter took the big leap when he met his future wife in the United States. He describes how his journey for freedom and search for the life that truly works for him, as well as for the couple, brought him and his wife Avani from the US to Mexico.
We discuss happiness being a choice and a way of thinking, being and acting that allows for freedom. Wouter points out, that there is no need to wait for a happier or freer future, because both happiness and freedom start now, in the present moment, in the choice you take every single second.
Woulter shares how important is to start becoming aware of our liming beliefs, when it comes to money and life generally. We all got a ton of limiting beliefs as we were growing up and becoming adults, so doing the work of uncovering what doesn’t serve us anymore is essential for energy to start flowing in the best way possible.

Woulter shares how important it is to know where you’re at right now financially, aiming for future goals, and being aware of where money flows in and out. We chat about whether saving only will make you a millionaire and highlight that financial literacy is for everyone.
